At Forward Emphasis, investing in the next generation of talent is a cornerstone of our growth strategy. In September 2023, we partnered with the Insurance Institute of Ireland’s (III) Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship Programme with the Atlantic Technological University, enrolling our first apprentices as part of a broader initiative to nurture workforce development and bridge the skills gap in the insurance and outsourcing sectors. Following the success of this initial intake, we expanded our commitment with a second cohort in September 2024.
About the Programme and Key Partners
The Insurance Institute of Ireland developed the Apprenticeship Programme to address the growing need for qualified professionals in the insurance sector. The programme not only bridges the gap between theoretical learning and practical application but also ensures a pipeline of new talent equipped to handle industry-specific challenges. Leading companies across the insurance, brokering, and outsourcing sectors participate, contributing to a collective effort to future-proof the industry.
Forward Emphasis joins the programme as the flagship regulatory outsourcing service provider, alongside industry leaders such as AXA, AIG, Aviva, Marsh, Zurich, Allianz, Travelers, Gallager and more.
Our Apprenticeship Journey
Since joining the programme, we have welcomed four apprentices into our organisation – two in 2023 and two more in 2024. These individuals work alongside experienced teams, gaining invaluable hands-on experience while pursuing professional qualifications. This structured dual approach ensures the apprentices receive both academic instruction and practical insights, equipping them with the skills necessary to thrive in their careers.
